WT: Actor Kevin Sorbo says the late fashion icon Gianni Versace sexually harassed him early in his career while asserting that a man should “do the dog, and the cat, and the boy, and the girl.”
The former star of “Hercules: The Legendary Journeys” appeared on comedian Adam Carolla’s podcast this week to promote his new movie, “Let Their Be Light,” when the conversation shifted to sexual assault in the entertainment industry.
Mr. Sorbo, a devout Christian, then said he would share a story from 1984 while he was in his mid-20s modeling in Milan, Italy. Mr. Sorbo said he was invited to a series of parties with stars such as Luciano Pavarotti and Richard Gere when he was eventually given a one-on-one dinner with Versace.

Don’t you ever wonder how some of the finest actors never seem to attain ‘star’ status? It certainly isn’t talent. ‘Character’ actors carry the movie or TV show. They are the true talent and often never rise above character status. I always suspected they were less willing to play ‘victim’ and said ‘no’.
I will often go to a movie with a character actor in it, despite a ‘star’ I can’t stand, just to watch that amazing character actor.
There was one actor who surprised me so completely , because his performance was amazing and I had not known the cast before I took my grandsons to see his movie. I was floored that Heath Ledger, was the Joker. His performance, everytime I watch it, is stunning.
My elitist wardrobe comes mostly from Costco. Weinstein probably wore very expensive clothing….don’t judge a book by it’s cover. Under that expensive clothing was a first rate felon.
A long time ago when I was 16 or 17 I was hitch hiking and got picked up by what seemed a nice guy. He was in the Air Force and we talked about different things and finally stopped in a place in the woods over-looking the city. He started drinking and offered me beer. I didn’t drink and turned it down. Then he put his hand on my knee. I asked him “what the are you doing?” I threw it off and told him to take me back to town. When he asked where I lived I gave directions and he let me off right in front of the city police dept.
