Kristi Noem: The Republican Party Has Failed America

And Here’s How It Needs To Change Now.

The Federalist| Kristi Noem:

It’s been a tough week for our country. Violence has no place in our American political system, and we’re all in agreement that the events that played out on Capitol Hill this week were unacceptable.

There are many in the media who are eager to blame Republicans for the events that transpired. And there are many in our party who are eager to blame President Trump both for the violence in Washington and for the results of the senate elections in Georgia.

But you know what? If that’s all we get out of this, our future will be no different than our past.

There are a lot of Americans whose frustration has been building for many years. Republicans have had opportunities to fix our healthcare system, reform immigration, and get our fiscal house in order, among many other things. Republicans have had chances to deliver for the American people. But we haven’t followed through.

Republicans got our butts kicked in Georgia on Tuesday. A 33-year-old with no accomplishments and a smooth-talking preacher wiped the floor with us. The idea that Georgia, of all places, could elect two communists to the United States Senate was ridiculous.

Our country has changed. We have failed to educate generations of our children about what makes America unique. Few, if any of them, have been taught the history of our decades-long fight to defeat communism. Meanwhile, the left’s indoctrination takes place every day with kids all across America from the time they walk into a school at age 5 to the time they graduate college at 22.

Republicans have not been disciplined enough to do the hard work. The American people need us to fight for them on a daily basis, not just 30 to 60 days before an election.

Our party has some serious work ahead of us. We are going to have to sit down and collectively answer a very simple question: Why does America need Republicans?

The answer to that is very simple: 2020.

Last year, we saw governments all across the country shut down people’s lives. American citizens could not go to church, run their business, or send their children to school.

COVID didn’t crush the economy. Government crushed the economy.

  1. “Violence has no place in our American political system…”

…then why is it OK when Democrats do it?

N.B. the Capitol was Democrats doing it too, just FYI…

  2. Any statements from anyone on the Planet that start with the premise that we have free and fair elections in this country should be summarily dismissed out of hand. The Game is Rigged. If you don’t know it lady YOU ARE IN ON IT.

  3. “Things will go hot shortly.”

I agree- but it’ll be Blantifa messing with the politicians. They punched Ted Wheeler while he was on a date in Portland. They know they can touch a politician now. It’s on.

  4. She lives in a bubble. I guess they all do. If one more political asshole says, “There’s no room for violence”, I hope someone breaks their freaken nose. Our country was born from a muzzle of a gun and violence. And at least for me, the few times civil discussion has failed, violence has always worked.
What the fuck did they expect?

  5. Always just considered myself a voter more than anything else. Just always stood with republicans because they were less repulsive than the democrats. I’m at a deep lose as to what my next decision is but I guess I have two years to think on it.

  6. She has just made her statement that she is interested in being the standard bearer. Ted Cruz has already made his move to pick up the pieces of the party as has Nicky Haley in her own way. The Never Trumpers want to get back to having a voice again as honorable losers or dem light. No thanks, I’ll go with my governor. She seems to have her head on right. The Elite really fear Trump and his supporters now. Can she put it all back together again? Legitimacy I think so.

  7. This might be mirroring the period after Goldwater, the RIGHT Barry. Individuals have the opportunity to vote, but not via mole-like returns or on top of a tank. Why not start with appointing senators again? Oh yeah, the big money strings.

  8. The look in her eyes says it all.

I am really worried for you guys down there.

We already fuckin lost up here. Our “conservatives” are more like your old style democrats. Pushing lockdowns etc.

    Total Fuck Up everywhere!

  9. Here in SD we don’t have lockdowns or mask mandates or travel restrictions. One of the lowest unemployment rates in the country because of her. She believes the citizens can decide for themselves how to react to the Rona.

  10. Give me a fucking break Kristi, your bought and paid for cohorts will keep surrendering no matter who we elect into office. The only solution now is the cartridge box and lots of rope.

  11. Nothing changes until mail-in ballots are a tiny, specifically-requested and well-regulated fraction of votes again, and computer voting is a thing of the past. Paper ballots with ID worked for two centuries and theu can work for two more.

It’s not a complete solution tonour deep problems, but it’s an obvious start.

  12. Has anyone seen the photos (on Twitter,I went down a rabbit hole) of guys in military gear in the Capitol? Many of them with Civil War Starts Jan 6 2021, black rifle coffee hats on some, tasers and with double loop zip ties for handcuffs.

Real? Part of the color revolution?

People were trying to identify them and did. Many are cops, ex cops and attended fundraisers with Don Jr. some think they were there to kidnap Pelosi or Pence-like the Michigan Gov Wittmer plot that was disrupted. They used the rally as cover.

    WTF

There’s no way in hell you’re carrying an AR on a street corner in DC unless you’re a Black Hat. Beside, Black Rifle Coffee bailed on Kyle Rittenhouse and most of the gun community is avoiding them. Mayor Bow Wow Wowzer was probably hiding behind the bushes with her cell phone and Hillary Clinton in a urine soaked adult diaper.

  14. @Brad They didn’t have guns but a taser. All geared up, vest, boots all very military but not AntiFa types. Why bring double loop zip ties into the Capitol? The one guy they most focused on was climbing the seats in the chamber and was seen again near Pelosi’s office.

  15. Why does every politician want to tell us violence isn’t the answer and they just hate what happened in D.C.? It’s getting really old.
I don’t know this Republican party she is describing, it’s a thing of the past. They haven’t gave two shits about individuals, businesses in decades. They care about Wall Street and big corp because that’s who lines their pockets, oh and they care about foreigners and foreign countries. Foreigners so their big corps who line their pockets can have slave wages, foreign countries so they can funnel that money back into their pockets.

Hell, they’ve had almost 50 years now to stop killing babies and they won’t even do that. They just use it as a campaign speech and a way to get money, knowing they won’t ever do a damn thing to end it.

I’ve liked this lady, but she’s living in an alternate reality.

    17
  16. Illustr8r there were a lot more antifa there than we realize. FBI acknowledged and they were filmed getting off buses.

But also undercover cops hang out in crowds, too. So who knows.
Could be why people were arrested so quickly.

Think of it like store security. They walk around like shoppers and you wouldn’t notice them unless you knew what to look for.

    11
  17. @MJA I thought it was possible too that they could be there as a protective force blending in. They were first seen hanging out by a guillotine for Pence on the Capitol grounds.

I know AntiFa was there. Seattle’s bunch has been relatively quiet. They are all in DC!

It’s all too weird and sad.

    8
  18. Illustr8r, yes it is weird and sad. But maybe this is exactly what we need to start the cleaning process. We have a lot of cleaning to do, and we have a helluva mess. Now we need a cleanup crew.

  19. She is correct in all respects but one. Nothing will change as long as the Republican Party remains as one of the two parties. It is time for a third party be formed of the 80M patriots to challenge and overcome the uniparty/globalists and make the American people the number one priority. My guess in addition to the 80M that will join a Patriot Party, it will drain 10-20M voters away from the the weak kneed Republican Party.

    5
  20. Fuck the Re-CUCK-lican party! NEVER again will I vote for one of these ass-holes! I will vote third-party for the rest of my life and I don’t care that some folks think I’m wasting my vote or voting demon-rat by proxy.
    Fuck it, CRASH THE SYSTEM!

    9
  21. Yup!
    Burn this motherfucker down.
While everybody else is chasing politicians, drop a BAB on the Soros compound, and then get the Clintons and the Obamas.
Cut the head off the slimy snake first.

  22. The “conservative” news outlets sites have not helped. This from Liberty News on Jan 3rd:

A dozen U.S. Senators have signed on to a demand for an emergency 10-day elections investigation commission that would dive into all the known allegations of election fraud and produce a final report. Speculation is swirling that VP Mike Pence will himself invoke this 10-day investigation on January 6th, refusing to open and read the electoral votes from swing states until this 10-day investigation is complete.

This is all fake news. I have not read that a 10 day review has started. It’s all so much hogwash at this point. Republican congresspersons riding in like cavalry to save Trump? What a joke.

  23. Violence has ALWAYS been a part of our American system and every democratic society.

It’s what keeps the demagogues from running amok. IOW, it’s been missing for too long here. If they don’t fear consequences, all their hypocrisy, theft and insultingly arrogant is what you get.

And we’ve seen it in droves, haven’t we?!

    1
  24. I am now having grave doubts that the military will ever do anything about the attacks on our rights. A few will grumble and leave the military. In the end, the military, like the police, will do whatever their masters tell it to do.

Any of them that break away to attempt to set up a new military will be considered traitors.

We have no allies. That doesn’t mean nothing can be done, but in a Civil War, we will have no ally in the military or intelligence services. It’s leaders live in the swamp. We also have to be careful of provocateurs, those who pretend to lead us, but who’s real job is to expose us.
