If “La Serernissma” is Italian for over run with loud tourist and sinking into its own filth, then yes, that describes Venice perfectly.
Gently drifting down the canals on the gondola while turds float by. How picturesque.
Party like it’s 1492.
I love Italy and would move there in a heartbeat if the landscape weren’t dotted
with burquas right now. But I have to be honest about Venice. It is not my favorite
place.
Back in ’86, Rome, Piza, and Florence were AWESOME!
We pulled into La Spezia for a liberty port and were
the only unit there. Best dang food ever. La Mod was
also great.
I was hoping to here Lorena’s voice in that one. ๐
She’s got the voice of an angel.
