Lara Trump Stepping Down as RNC Co-Chair amid Senate Speculation

Breitbart

Republican National Committee (RNC) co-chair Lara Trump is stepping down from her party role as she considers replacing Florida Sen. Marco Rubio (R), whom her father-in-law, President-elect Trump, picked for secretary of state.

“It is something I would seriously consider,” she told the Associated Press in an interview, referring to serving in the Senate.

“But yeah, I would 100 percent consider it.”

Trump was elected to lead the RNC alongside fellow chair Michael Whatley in March and has been unrelenting in her support of her father-in-law and now President-elect Donald Trump. more

  1. Intersting. Have to pay attention to how that works out. If she can Go to Washington, qithout the insideous effects of the Swamp, it could be a good thing. But its still nepotism, ao expect the Florida & RNC to have a large say in this.

  2. Granted, there are a few hoops still to jump through, but I love this idea.

Of all the Trump kids (yeah, Don Jr. and Eric are great) I like her the best. She is super smart and photogenic, laser-focused on the mission, and loyal as hell. Trump needs at least one advocate in the Senate he does not have to worry about. And her work ethic with the RNC reveals that she will be a dedicated vocal voice for the people of Florida.

    You go, girl.

  3. No. Nepotism is what has caused this mess in the first place. Remember the Kennedys, Bushes, Clintons, Cheneys, Romneys etc…. Plus she and the RNC did not fight the theft of the Senate seats in NV, AZ, MI and WI. Where was she when 4 California seats led by Republicans on Nov. 5 kept counting ballots until all the seats were flipped to Democrat last week? We are not a monarchy. There is only one Trump DJT.

  4. It is NOT nepotism. The president-elect has no say in this. The governor of Florida will decide, and his name is not Trump. Sure, influence can be plied, but what political appointment has ever been made where influence was not plied?

MAGA works best when those in power advocate for it, she will.
