LET: LAS VEGAS, NV – The mother of a 9-year-old-boy is reasonably angered after learning that a substitute teacher in her son’s classroom allegedly taped a mask on her son in front of his entire class.
The mask was taped onto the child, according to the mother, after the boy forgot to immediately put the mask back on after sipping some water.
A mother, who spoke with KVVU-TV under anonymity, is seeking the resignation of a substitute teacher out of Clark County School District who allegedly taped a mask on her son’s face – and also did the same to at least five other students.

The only way to handle these types of “assaults” is criminally (get the cops involved and file a police report), and civilly (get any one of several dozen attorneys that would gladly take this on) and sue the school for a boatload of cash. Resignations are meaningless, you can’t fire a teacher, but you can inflict some fiscal pain on the school. That is how they learn.
I don’t know about assault but I bet a strong case of Child Endangerment could be mustered.
Started suspending students at my son’s high school for not properly wearing masks. No warnings. So far several suspensions all from ONE coviet teacher. freakin insanity.
Most states have laws specifically targeting “corporal punishment”, this clearly applies.

This isn’t ‘assault’ in legal terms, it is battery, and police charges should be filed.
Assault per the dictionary involves physical contact, but in legal terms it is: ‘an intentional act by one person that creates an apprehension in another of an imminent harmful or offensive contact.’

For starters that teacher should have their mouth taped shut with Gorilla Tape. That stuff will pull your skin off.
My one daughter used to teach at that school, until she quit is disgust. I could tell you stories, but let’s just say, serious administration problems. LV school district is very woke.
