‘So here I am, a white posh bloke, who loves his job, who has worked hard to be good at it, facing an uncertain future — all for the heinous sin of shaking my fist at the ugly, hypocritical and inconsistent god of progressivism.’

Sadly, this man thinks that the answer for the madness we’re all witnessing is to engage in reasoned debate with these people before the violence increases. He clearly doesn’t recognize the futility of that approach.
He’s making the mistaken assumption that these people are rational and he couldn’t be more wrong.
There is only one way to deal with anarchists.
It’s time to forget about freedom of think and speech. It’s a war and it’s either us or them. They will never agree to let white people think their own thoughts or say what’s on their minds. Never. It’s a fools errand to think we will ever bring about that vaunted freedom of expression.
We wonder how things like Pinochet happened in Chile. There is no need to wonder any more. The commies in Chile were just like antifa in the US. The right finally had enough and they took action called Pinochet. Now we have revised history telling us Pinochet was a crime against humanity.
Either we will have our own Pinochet, or we will submit to the left requiring us to shut our mouths and take a knee in front of them.
There are no other alternatives. It’s delusional to think the left will ever allow us to be free. It’s them or us.
I work with an older black guy. He’s a professional. His wife is a professional. They went out to eat last weekend and an anonymous, random white couple bought their dinner for them and had the waiter send them a message that they were sorry for the racism in this country.
He was so appreciative of this act.
I couldn’t say that sounded like the most patronizing, condescending bit of self-flagellation. Someone who didn’t wrong somebody else making themselves feel better by assuming blame for something someone else may have done based solely on skin color. Assuming that paying for the meal at the nice restaurant was such a hardship that they needed to pitch in.
I couldn’t say, “Hey, don’t you and your wife have a household income over $200k a year?” Taking charity for something that didn’t happen to them.
But I don’t say this because then a mark would go against me in a lot of people’s book. They all just say “wow, that was so nice of them”. If it’s so nice, why don’t you buy his lunch for the rest of the week when he makes more money than you.
Just shaking my head.
No one may have seen this but the Kennedy Center awards were on last night. It was Tribute to Blackness night.
At one point, the anti-semitic Chuck D from Public Enemy was reciting his lyrics as spoken word poetry along with other 80s rappers. As he gets to the “fight the power” chorus of his song, he keeps repeating it as the audience starting whitely chanting with him.
Fight the power, fight the power, fight the power.
It’s like, you all are dressed in tuxedos at the Kennedy Center. You motherfuckers are the power.
Put me right to sleep.
I really liked him in “Lewis”.
Good actor.
I love his description of Mr. Meghan Markle.
And leftists are lemmings.
Unthinking lemmings.
Interesting that the European media are doing the same thing as American media.
Wow…David Shawn made my day..Despite the entire world having engaged in an intense effort to define Pinochet as a monster, David has continued to understand that he was a great man and saved Chile from a Cuba style devolution into hell. In addition, Pinochet sought human individual freedom and economic freedom. And then, not being a Leftist Dictator, he faced the risk of reprisal from the Progressive s and stepped down to allow Chile to govern itself. Almost a George Washington ..
All lives matter, because even the most evil amongst us that deserve death now are valuable as an example to others not to be evil. Because there are or should be consequences for that behavior. Let their death be televised, spread it far and wide, don’t waste a life that’s been wasted.
I have become so tired of hypocrits playing the race card until the deck bleeds that I have been turning the channel
on my TV and radio when I hear or see a black person or a white apologist on the news or other venue.
Since I started ignoring them my BP has dropped 10 points.
It’s about time the rest of you woke-up (if I may use that term) to General Pinochet.

@ Cliche: “… making themselves feel better …” That’s really what all this crap is about. It’s not about helping others, it’s about making themselves feel good.
Cynic. Don’t I know it. The CEO of our company issued a NASCAResque statement about social injustice, etc.
I wanted to anonymously suggest, in the wake of ChikFilA’s CEO comments, why not get down on your knee and shine their shoes? Better yet, resign after appointing a random black person as your successor. By virtue of their victimhood, they are more worthy of the job and you are less.
Maybe if this guy didn’t speak in such a snooty tone people wouldn’t want to eliminate him.
