  1. Silly Romanians! Everybody knows it should be Baked Chicken with Lemon and Tarragon, not Lemon and Thyme. Sheesh.

I just might be worth a trip to Thailand to try Lay’s Garlic and Soft Shelled Crab chips. Yum! (I’ll have to think about Bacon and Cheese with Seaweed even though it has bacon.)

  2. Squid flavored rice puffs (not that different from potato chips used as a mildly flavored vehicle for stronger flavors) are actually pretty good. I ate them all the time when I was in Korea many years ago.

Not for everybody, though, I suppose. But then again, I’m the guy who ate the real kimchee, not the wimpy stuff they kept around for wimpy non-Koreans.

  3. sleeping giant, I’m with ya! But maybe I’ll try Uncle Al’s suggestion before the trip to Canada (Kettle Chips have a Maple Bacon flavor chip that’s quite nice.) Yum!

  4. At least someone noticed the name on the bag. (I’m looking at you, LocoBlancoSaltine)

It’s says “Crap” in Greek/Cyrillic Text.

    Well played, Cardigan.

  5. The air is what keeps them from getting crushed. The net weight is what you’re buying. You’d rather have Lay’s potato chip crumbs?

When a big bag went up to 4.20 here a few years ago, it wasn’t an option anymore.

Meh, they’re bad for you anyway, overpriced or not. I’m healthier for it now.
