Let Them Drive Teslas!

“Well, you all imagined it,” Vice President Kamala Harris commented during a so-called clean-transit event, where she appeared with her fellow tautologist, Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg.

“That’s why we’re here today — because we have the ability to see what can be, unburdened by what has been, and then to make the possible actually happen.”

When Harris and Transportation Secretary Pete get together, it’s Platitudicon. As it was this week, when, as the reality of imminent historic gas price spikes was hitting Americans, the duo spent the day promoting electric cars, the Green New Deal and the Environmental Protection Agency’s soon-to-be-tightened emissions standards.

When it comes to energy, the Democrats adopt a bizarre elitist disconnect: Propelled by theological belief in end-of-days climate alarmism, they assume that Americans will join them in losing all sense of perspective and proportionality.

Despite the perpetual championing of electric vehicles, less than 1% of cars, SUVs and light trucks on the road in the United States are electric. The average cost of an electric car is $55,000. read more

  1. Man, Jennifer M. Granhole is the absolute worst. What a carpet munching condescending bitch. Hey Jenny, I need my super polluter diesel to pull my two stroke Bass Boat which dumps oil in the water you drink.

  2. “… we have the ability to see what can be, unburdened by what has been …”

then why are you jackasses demanding your crutch of ‘reparations’????

  3. If I had 55 K to buy a new car I sure as hell wouldn’t buy a Tesla. My 93 Subaru Legacy 4wd station wagon has all the bells and whistles and is far more reliable than a brand new Tesla. And it doesn’t have all the computer chips to muck it up when it breaks down. And since I’m single I don’t need a fancy car to impress anyone anymore. If you gave me 55 K I’d buy a very good used low mileage pickup truck and still have money left over to afford gas.

This is how you order your butt plugs, Anonymous, and whatever other faggot shit you espouse — and actually get your faggot shit in your PO Box.

    You, Anonymous, are a moron.

  5. Erik, my brother. You and I know the Internet gave power to cowards like this, Mike Tyson nailed it. They’d never say it to your face. Their anonymity empowers them. That would never work for guys like us. We still need to deal with the reflection in the mirror. Fuck them all. They’re not worth the elevated blood pressure.

  6. The last time all this bs happened when gas prices were high, all or most of our work vans either had the gas in their tanks stolen or some bastard cut the fuel lines and drained the gas tanks. My boss was pissed one morning when I went out to start my van and there was no gas in it. We had to get a security fence after that to protect our vehicles from gas thieves. It’s too bad we can’t just shoot these bastards when they steal gas or catalytic convertors, in the old West if you stole a man’s horse they would very often hang the horse thief.

  7. I’m not elevated. I’ve just found a rig with which I can carry 2 extra magazines. 🙂

    Armadillo Holsters are surprisingly excellent.

  8. These same assholes are saying that the Keystone Pipeline and oil drilling takes time before it would help anything.
    Really?
It will take decades to transition to majority electric cars.
Gonna require a lot of things to fall into place to even get close.
Plus the tech is just not there yet to move large loads efficiently.

    Fucking pipe dream.

Yea, I finally got my hands on a Commander Sized bad ass 1911. Not an easy task in Cali. It’s a built gun. Anyway, Tier One makes some bad ass holsters. And I actually found a leather two mag carrier on Amazon that is way cool. My poor Glock hasn’t seen sunlight in a long while.

I heard that. Here’s their problem. Trump had us energy independent with out that pipeline. So they can fuck off.

    These fucking clowns…

The gun buying frenzy is still going on. Everything is out of stock. Just don’t buy a new Kimber. I just read that buried deep in that 5,000 long spending bill, that was released 1 hour before they had to vote on it, was a measure to try and disarm us. I understand their urgency. No crooked son of a bitch wants to get shot. I guess it’s down to come get it bitches.
On a side note, $120.00 to fill the Duramax tonight. Fuckers.

  13. Erik, they flew a “solar powered” aircraft around the world a few years back.
It held ONE person, the pilot, who had to wear a diaper.
    No payload whatsoever.
    It had a long wingspan.
It took a support crew of 200.
The weather had to be perfect.
They had to map it out exactly and postponed flights many times.

I get “proof of concept” but they inadvertently proved that the current technology is stone age primitive regarding electric aircraft.

  14. I’m not a Kimber guy. Unless , you know. Nothing against them.

I’ve had Auto Ordinance (Thompson) for decades. Bullet came out of it every time. Except when I tried Winchester 230 half jacket hollow points.

    I’m still not mad.

  15. I’ve been playing with the Appendix carry. Fast as hell. Why, because guys are use to grabbing their junk for protection. It’s a primal thing. Most Appendix draw holsters are not practical. You can’t wear them while you’re sitting down. Tier One has solved that problem. If anybody here’s looking to be a gun slinger, check out their products. I’m wearing one now. Sitting down.

Yikes. Hey Anon, we’re going to the range this Sunday. Ya want to come along? Were looking for reactive targets.

  17. Yea somethings wrong there. Never seen a Glock that had any failure to feed issues. Having said that you’re an athletic guy and should be able to do mag dumps with that thing at will so I’m thinking it’s the gun or the mags. Are the mags factory mags or after market mags?

  18. It came with two factory mags.
Eventually the plastic in one of them was cracking.
I believe the grip had a crack forming as well.
Austrian made it was one of the first guns I bought.
I must say that when it first started jamming it gave me legitimate nightmares.
In all my shooting dreams going forward when my gun meant life or death it jammed!
Not bullshitting, it affected my dreams!!!
    Incredible! The human mind…

“Kimbers got a real quality problem. Again.”

…my wife got a Kimber .45 for her carry weapon. I wanted her to have something with enough energy to push someone back if she had to use it.

Real pretty, has built-in Crimson Trace she never uses and everything.

Also, a very stiff slide and jams ALL THE TIME.

Tried different factory mags with no real improvement. The slide got a tiny bit better after using it awhile but it’s a small gun and she’s a woman so it’s not that easy for her to pull it back. Had different gunsmiths look at it, mostly get shrugs and comments like “that’s Kimber”.

As a result, she just leaves that one at home and carries a SW .380 instead. Not super powerful, but she’s comfortable and confident with it, which I’m afraid is more than she’ll ever be able to say for the Kimber…

Don’t worry! We’ve got newerer, betterer, Somali-Mericans. To keep that grid (singular) humming.
