In Donald Trump’s first term, we had comediennes holding up his bloodied, effigial head for photoshoots. Before his second term, we had one man who actually made the once-and-future president’s head bloody with a bullet, and one who certainly hoped to try.
Charlie Kirk, arguably the most prominent conservative activist since William F. Buckley, has been assassinated. Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh almost was, allegedly by a man who wanted to kill several more conservative justices, as well. Progressives now believe in record numbers that violence is an acceptable means to achieve a political end. New York City is poised to elect a mayor who believes the phrase “globalize the intifada” isn’t problematic.
And now, in Loudoun County, Virginia, we have yet another crazed progressive loony who allegedly sent a Virginia GOP state lawmaker a death threat for complaining about a racist sign aimed at Republican gubernatorial candidate Winsome Earle-Sears. more
The left is consumed with hatred and violence. There is no room for any other emotion. When was the last time you saw any of them actually laugh or have a good time. The all consuming rage they harbor for this president and those who believe in him will lead to bloodshed. I’ve felt it for a long time.
Pretty unserious judge if the bond was only $2500.
Thinking yhe move to close prisons is wrong and missing an obvious use as facility to warehouse insane lefties.
The problem is that the left (and their supplicants in the MSM) will dismiss this guy out of hand as a nutjob, an aberration. But this level of violence, this means of dealing with the opposition, runs rampant, top to bottom, throughout the entire party.
Throughout our history, we have seen the pendulum swing from side to side, the river of social norms ebb and flow, from one bank to the other, but this is different. Never have we seen a party that effectively controls one half of the nation, so lawless, so violent, so unwilling to hear the other side.
The dam is breaking, and a reckoning is fast approaching. I have no idea what will result, but the situation as it stands now is untenable.

For the past twenty years we’ve submerged ourselves in the study of our Founding and its Fathers, and the miracle of the birth of our country. Unfortunately, I haven’t done the same with the understanding the very first events that lead to the Civil War. My personal library is bereft of books that record the details of the first inklings of national divorce between “North” and “South”.
Now I’m very curious about how the Civil War got started; what were the events and who caused them? Who was the dark money behind the pro-slavery movement? Lincoln didn’t just wake up one morning at the WH and declare it. Was the first Republican party the progenitor of MAGA? If the 1800’s had bumper stickers and graffiti, what would they have said? If CNN and MSNBC and The View been around in 1855 – 1865, what would they have been reporting? And what would Breitbart, James O’Keefe, PJ Media, and The Conservative Tree House been saying?
I believe we are either solidly in the beginnings of America’s 2nd undeclared Civil War, or very near to it. It’s funny, I always questioned how brother could ever fight — to the death — brother, but we know of more than a few people who have cut off their family and long-time friends over political disagreements.
The Left has fired the first salvo of our 2nd Civil War.They’ve openly declared that violence and death are reasonable opposition to their political “enemies.” When will MAGA be forced to respond?
