On Sunday night, after repeated denials he would do so, Joe Biden granted his son, Hunter Biden, a blanket pardon in the federal gun and tax cases against him.
The pardon also covers any federal crimes by Hunter from 2014 to 2024, thus absolving him from additional charges of any possible drug involvement, sex trafficking, lobbying, bribery, foreign agent, or other crimes involving Ukraine and several other foreign governments or companies, including China.
The start date also coincides with the year Hunter joined the board of the Ukraine energy firm Burisma in an influence-peddling scheme alleged to have involved Joe Biden.

Rumor has it that Hunter showed up at the white house with a story about writing a book about the family to help pay for his legal fees. The next day, he gets pardoned.

Does it really matter? With one pardon, he has inflicted major harm on the Democrat party that will last for decades. Also, unless he does it in the final days of his presidency, he didn’t pardon himself.

Because this government defiantly flaunts justice and will continue to do so until it’s last day, how can you not wish for a direct hypersonic missle strike?
I am certainly not a Biden fan but I don’t think Silver is at all justified to say that Biden destroyed the Democratic Party. It was destroyed by the handlers who pushed Biden into the White House when he was clearly not up to the job; who stabbed him in the back and pushed him out of his re-election race (no one really believes he sent that message saying he was dropping out); who replaced Biden as the candidate with someone who clearly was not qualified to be President (conceptually, not Constitutionally).
Nate’s job was to convince people that the Democrats were great people by releasing bogus polls. Now it is his job to convince people who the scapegoat is when it backfired.
This was the third time in the last four Presidential elections where the party pretty much told voters to go screw themselves. How many times did they think they could do that before people got fed up?
