WFB: A liberal Wisconsin children’s court judge was arrested on child pornography charges on Tuesday, the Wisconsin Justice Department announced.
Federal investigators allege that Brett Blomme, a Milwaukee County Circuit Court judge, uploaded child pornography on a messaging app in October and November 2020. Blomme was assigned to the Milwaukee County Children’s Court, according to a list of officials on the court’s website.
Kik, the messaging app Blomme allegedly used, flagged the judge’s communications to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, which sparked the federal investigation. Blomme allegedly uploaded 27 videos through the app, according to an affidavit reviewed by Urban Milwaukee. Kik is a popular messaging app among teenagers. more
