Retired Chicago firefighter David Quintavalle had a pretty normal Wednesday last week. He went grocery shopping at Aldi in the morning, and spent the evening celebrating his wife’s birthday with home-cooked lobster and steak. His son, a Chicago police officer, celebrated as well. The next day, Quintavalle went to Home Depot.
None of this should be news, because these are things that normal people do regularly. But for Quintavalle, an otherwise normal day was shattered when he was publicly and falsely accused of being the man who attacked a U.S. Capitol Police officer with a fire extinguisher. That officer, Brian Sicknick, later died from his injuries.
Quintavalle is not on social media, so he didn’t know immediately that his life would be upended Tuesday when a random person on Twitter decided an image of him during a protest in Chicago matched the image of the man who allegedly attacked Sicknick.
“I got a phone call from a friend who said, ‘You should see what they twittered about you,’” Quintavalle told Patch.
“Some woman from British Columbia showed the [surveillance] picture of the guy wearing CFD stocking cap and a beard like I’ve had, and file footage when I was protesting the city inappropriately scoring the fire lieutenants exam, and said, ‘This is the guy.’ And the ball started rolling. Everybody started saying, ‘Here’s the guy,’” he added. more here
If I was that guy I’d pray that the bitch was rich. But would still sue her to the hilt. I’d pay to send friends to act as reporters to camp outside HER house.
Democrats: the savages among us.
Our intrepid FBI is busy screening the troops garrisoned at the capital for Trump supporters.
Paranoid much?
Can you sue someone civilly across national boundary lines? If so, Mr Quintavalle should sue Ms/Mr Twatter for libel and slander, criminal mischief, mental distress, and everything else that lawyers can dog pile on.
And if Twatter refuses to cooperate and/or actively deletes the Twat, sue them for blocking an active investigation plus all of the other charges above.
Hit enough people in the pocketbook enough times, other people may (MAY) start to think, “wow! do I want to throw out false news and get myself sued into oblivion?”
Of course they’ll be no repercussions for the keyboard revolutionary.
Jussie Smollet, countless fake “islamaphobe/homophobe/racist hate crimes”, doxxing Trump supporters/admin officials, resulting in job losses, physical/property damage….none of which are ever held to account.
Trump’s “mean” tweets and telling supporters to “fight for their country, but do it peacefully”….treason.
Lawsuits are the only way to hold people accountable and make them become more responsible in the future.
The court system has become political. Expect no redress.
These people should be wearing armbands with Nazi emblems.
Richard Jewel could not be reached for comment because he’s dead, partly because the FBI ruined his life by falsely accusing him of being the Atlanta Olympic bomber.
Get ready for more of this crap as the Lib-trad become more and more emboldened. FBI has billboards up here in Connecticut with a tip line number for turning in people who were at the Capital building. You know, just like the ones they had asking for tips on Antifa and BurnLootMurder thugs last Summer. Yeah right.
DRG,
Use the number to call in & rat out the Kongress Klown Krew that were there.

@Seaoh BFH or MJA needs to put this on a thread, sad and funny at same time.
Hit these people hard with lawsuits, they’ll quickly learn.

Be careful people, your own neighbor will rat you out to the security police.
