Herman Cain/ CFP: Ten years ago I had cancer.
After colon and liver surgery, and chemotherapy, I’m still here! That’s God!
God may not do the same for everybody, but if it is his plan, you just might have an extended minute.
On the way to the airport, my friend Joel told me about his cousin who was recently taken off life support. Her situation was only going to get worse following a liver transplant, diabetes and some amputations.
Having been to two funerals in the last three weeks of two close family members, I’m constantly reminded of just how precious life is, and just how short it is. I don’t mean to be morbid, but we are all dying, just at different rates and in different ways.
… beautifully said Mr. Cain
Amen.
Life flies by.
God is good.
Eternity is forever.
Herman Cain is a national treasure. I love the man.
“That’s why we should treat every day as a gift from God.”
I was saying that very thing just yesterday in the Bullpen. It sure does make life more enjoyable when you look at it that way. And laughter, that is a very important part of an enjoyable life.
Cain is a good man. He knows the secret to a happy life.
Its tough to do. So i dont.
just kidding
but it is tough
Wow, that’s very well put. I can relate to everything he said and then some. No one knows my history.
Eloquent and well said. Sometimes it only takes a few kind words to point someone in a better direction.
Dr. Martin Luther King once said that in the end, the value of our lives will be measured against the level of service we rendered to others.
That this man’s campaign for President was trashed says alot about the shape of our politics.
Please hold accountable those who report the “news” and shape public thinking.
Amen brother!
