South Carolina Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham wondered Sunday how President Donald Trump can negotiate an end to the partial government shutdown “as long as the radical left is in charge.”
Graham told CBS’s “Face the Nation” that he doesn’t hold out much hope for a quick resolution to the impasse as long as Republicans are dealing with Democrats who are acting like fringe politicians.
“We’re having to negotiate with people who want to abolish ICE [Immigration and Customs Enforcement], not support ICE. We’re having to negotiate with people who see border patrol agents gassing children, rather than defending our borders as professional law enforcement officers,” Graham said.
“And we’re negotiating with people who will … accuse all of us who support a wall as part of border security as racists. As long as the radical left is in charge, we’re not going to get anywhere,” he told the network.
Graham, who initially balked at supporting Trump’s candidacy to lead the Republican Party in the 2016 presidential election, has become one of the administration’s most loyal legislators. Graham defended Trump’s choice of Brett Kavanaugh as a Supreme Court justice and has even come around to Trump’s decision to withdraw U.S. troops from Syria, after some initial opposition.
“The president is right to dig in to get money for a wall as part of border security,” Graham insisted. “The goal is to fix a broken immigration system.” MORE

Imagine how racist someone has to be in order to work the same immoral structure for over 3/4 a millennium. Plus it still stands today, 1173 years later. Pope Leo IV (Probably more orange than orange) did a great disservice to his country and the world by keeping Saracen pirates in the shadows not allow them full rights as citizens. The world must now pay reparations to muslims by allowing mexicans unfettered access to USA. Also remove Leo from history books, there’s nothing good to learn from him. Start by toppling a statue of him, if there is one. If there isn’t one, make one. Show the world what’s right. Beforehand, make sure everyone knows he was Orange and toxic male by organizing virtue signal protests on college campus.
A wall is an inanimate object, just as guns are.
It’s Pelosi and Schumer who are immoral! They should read the oath of office they took. Nobody voted for either of these charlatans outside of New York and California.

The longer this goes on, the longer their two-faced arguments get air time.
We got used to never having a Federal budget as condition normal; we can get used to “government shutdown” as normal too. True small government, individual liberty types can last get along without nonessential gruberment servicing longer than the nanny-staters can. Dig in and wait ’em out!
