Nice, but I’ll always love the version by the Ray Conniff Singers the most. It’s perfect.

As a drummer, I performed this in a church service several years ago with a lady from our choir, and it was fun to do. It was a wonderful way to worship and bring honor to our new born King! Jesus came in a lowly manner, to show the world what true humility can bring to a world so puffed up with pride. Christmas teaches us to bend the knee and come humbly to the manger to worship Him who restored all creation! All praise to Him who is the Alpha and the Omega!

He probably should have left out the part
“She was a black haired beauty with big dark eyes
And points all her own sitting way up high”
I’m sure he wasn’t talking about Mary.

@Shame on Me – that happens to be a GREAT song as well…but that’s a different thread…or high.
Mary, the mother of Jesus, WAS a ‘saint’…literally, for many reasons, for what she took on.
For the ‘record’.
