Speaking of corn, anyone here ever make cooler corn? Real simple to do. Get fresh sweet corn, put it in a cooler and then pour near boiling water on it. Let it sit about an hour, then enjoy. The bonus being that the corn in the cooler stays good and hot, never mushy, in the cooler for a few hours.
Be careful however with cheap coolers. If the water is too hot, it may distort the plastic bottom of the cooler. But no worry if the cooler is cheap enough, just dedicate it to cooler corn.
