Lobstermen Quit As New Regulations Go Into Effect

Daily Caller:

Lobstermen in Maine are reportedly quitting as frustration with new regulations enacted by the state at the beginning of the year grows.

The regulation by the Atlantic States Commission took effect on Jan. 1, requiring lobstermen to inform the agency when, where and how they catch lobsters through monthly reports, WGME reported. Rather than endure the agency’s oversight of the sport, many fishers are reportedly giving up trapping lobsters instead. more

  1. I agree that sniveling nose little bitch bureaucrats should not be making these rules, and the fishermen are being wronged.

But seafood is disgusting. I will get along just fine with less lobster.

  4. Democrats have two primary goals:

    1. Displace all white men out of the work force.

    2. Have all white men murdered by feral blacks.

That’s what this all really comes down to, i.e. the absolute annihilation of whites.

  6. The leftists have just about destroyed the fishing industry here.
The waterfront used to be crowded with boats. Each one an independent business.
The feds started killing it in the early 2000’s by limiting how often boats can go out. The windpower big businesses have been trying to shut down lobstering grounds so they can get their govt subsidies and build those 850 monstrosities since Obama. The companies even hired phony scientists to do phony studies.
Trump was on the road to bringing the industry back.
He came here a couple of times and personally met with representatives of the fishing industry.
American fishermen are the best stewards of the resource because if they destroy the resource they’re out of business.
Meanwhile, Canadian fishermen can catch what they like, any size they like.
Japanese and Chinese vessels the size of oil tankers and freighters are out there scooping up massive numbers of fish and processing them at sea.
When they bring the seafood on board there a a lot of inedible fish, bony fish, that are dead from being netted and brought from depth quickly.
    They are killing the resources.
