Long Covid Impact “Exaggerated With Major Flaws in Claims”, BMJ Study Finds

Daily Sceptic:

The risks of developing Long Covid appear to have been exaggerated by flawed research, academics have suggested in a new paper published in the BMJ. The Telegraph has more.

Most people who contract coronavirus feel better within days or weeks, but for some people symptoms can last longer than 12 weeks.

Those who have Long Covid, also known as post-acute sequelae of COVID-19 (PASC), report fatigue, brain fog, chest pain and shortness of breath.

However, analysis from researchers in the U.K., Denmark and the U.S. suggests “major flaws” in the body of literature on the condition have probably exaggerated the true threat of developing it.

The analysis, published today, says “many scientific publications” overestimate the prevalence of long Covid due to “overly broad definitions, lack of control groups, inappropriate control groups, and other methodological flaws”. MORE

…sooo. basically, the same as the entire history of Coof, including the piss-poor development of the vaxxx.

  2. It turns out that Teh Science™ was calling something Long Covid if the patient presented any one or more of up to 200 symptoms even if there was no test result or any other indication that the poor sap ever had COVID at all. What a fraud!

  3. My wife has had diminished sense of smell since getting whatever was going around. A couple of months of regularly taking nattokinase has restored much and likely will restore it all. Thank god for Mercola, McCullough and others for providing natural solutions to this bigPharma bioweapon.

  4. @MrLiberty – Thank you for mentioning nattokinase, as I have had my smell and taste change significantly from COVID. I can no longer stand either yogurt or sour cream – I used to love both. Fried foods also taste tainted.

I will try natto (never had it, but I hear it’s an ‘acquired taste’), as it seems a better option than trusting supplements. They lack extra stuff contained in the food that may mitigate nattokinase’s side effects.

Not sure if I can stomach it though… But I will try.

  5. Mr Liberty-where is McCullough’s info on this and his natural remedies.
There is a Dr here who almost lost her med license in TX. She was prescribing hydroxy and protocols for covid patients. She only saw in person and never telehealth. She thinks seeing patients in person is why she was able to keep it, plus she spent hundreds of thousands of dollars fighting it.
So TX is not in great shape when having medical freedom, with HEB pharmacies not filling prescriptions of ivermectin still even today with the positive evidence of ivermectin and the side affects of the vax is becoming more evident as it is studied.

  6. Amazon sells two different versions. one is very goopy and very strong tasting. Another isn’t. Sonomono is the brand. Package says reduced aroma and viscosity. We are just taking the recommended amount on the Package- 1 tsp (1.5g) and mixing it with water. Start with a small amount of water in a shotglass or similar to make sure it all gets dissolved. Not the cheapest stuff,, but does seem to work. We also started taking it to be safe from the shedding of the jabbed. Not sure where I originally found McCullough recommendations but I have seen it mentioned by others too.
