The great Lou Dobbs has passed away.
He was 78 years old.
President Trump made the announcement on Truth Social.

Death can come silently like a thief in the night. I think that or something like it is in the Bible, but I don’t know what chapter and verse.

He and his family lived four houses down from me growing up. This was the late 70’s, early 80’s in Everett, Wa. He was the nightly news anchor on KING 5 News. He had 2 kids; Chance and Scotty. Chance was a couple years older than me, and Scotty a couple years younger. They hung out with the rest of us kids in the neighborhood. Of course, everyone had a nickname, and we called them Pants and Potty Slobs. We all got along. RIP Mr. Dobbs.
