CampusReform: A Massachusetts college allows students to reside in “identity-based” housing communities, provided they have a “unique social identity” that has “historically experienced oppression.”
“These residential spaces give support to members of our community with social identities that have been historically marginalized in this country, and strive to counter systemic oppression,” Hampshire College explains on its website, adding that its promotion of such living arrangements “arises from our commitment to fostering diverse, socially just, and inclusive communities.”
An accompanying informational booklet further elaborates that “identity-based housing is an institutional structure designed to assist members of historically oppressed groups in supporting each other,” and “helps to create an added level of psychological comfort and safety for those who choose to live in those spaces, often providing the foundation for those students to be able to engage fully in the greater community.”
One section of the identity-based housing program consists of “permanent” mods, covering categories such as LGBTQQIAAP, Queer, Students of Color, and Women of Color. The “not-yet-permanent” mods include Marginalized Gender Identities, Asian Heritage, and Pan-Afrikan Diasporia [sic]. MORE

I was always a dork, growing up, and now. I played D&D in jr high and high school, watched Star Trek and Doctor Who, waaaaaaaaay before they were cool, and had coke-bottle glasses starting in 1st grade.

This is a “farm college.” Similar to Cornell (the one Queef Olberman graduated from, not the Ivy League one); it is hippie central. I go by there every day; they have not yet requested my tender mercies…but at some point they will…the ugly light of reality will dawn on those precious snowflakes.
If they were really serious about this, they would renounce their US citizenship, and move to Africa.

SEGREGATION HAS COME FULL CIRCLE! All we needed was a bunch of liberals to twist the words around making it sound like it’s a good thing.
And guess what? IT IS! …….until the minority students destroy, run down, and degrade their living arraingements, and look to see that the white students take care of theirs, THEN segregation will be bad again.
Why parents are still paying thru the nose to send their kids to these romper rooms of lunacy is beyond me. And graduating with a advanced degree in conflict resolution won’t exactly open doors for you.
