This kind of stuff goes on all the time. I had a friend in Washington state who was living with this girl who had a couple kids from a previous relationship. They broke up, and Washington state made him pay child support on her kids for years because that was the standard of living they were used to.

If they do this to men than at least make the woman provide receipts and account for every penny received. but I doubt they do. The poor guy is probably paying for her crack habit while she’s shacked up with some other guy.

That is what appeal courts are for. If not he should be able to get the local DA to hit her on fraud charges. If I were to pull a scam that cost someone 65k and the DA took notice I’d be looking at years of prison time.
I just feel for the kiddo’s who are not going to understand the context until it’s too late and the pain and damage will already be done.
I thing the lesson here is never, Never, NEVER agree to or sign anything governmental about paternity without having a test done that shows you’re the father, and that’s documented and reported by a fully recognized, reputable, and reliable GOVT-BLESSED laboratory.

Fuck her! If I was him, I’d tell the court to go to hell and I’d simply refuse to pay it. Until men stand up to this child support scam, refuse to contribute when it’s not their kid, nothing will change. Believe me, the court’s stand is that it’s about the child. It’s NOT about the child, it’s about suppressing men and breaking up the family unit. That’s all it’s ever been about.
