Maryland: Guardian arrives in stolen vehicle to take custody of teens arrested for auto theft

FOX

Maryland police said the guardian of four teens arrested for auto theft last week arrived to pick them up in a stolen vehicle.

The Charles County Police Department said officers patrolling in Waldorf, Maryland, at about 1 p.m. on May 16 saw two Hyundai vehicles in front of a business. A computer check revealed they were reported stolen.

When the officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop, the drivers of the two vehicles sped off.

At the same time, a dispatcher took a 911 call about a group of suspects that entered a business and stole merchandise before fleeing in two vehicles that matched the cars the officers were attempting to stop. read more

  1. I lived in Waldorf for almost 20 years. It was daily becoming worse with dindunuffins and all other sorts of welfare rats. As you can see, they aren’t very bright, and they have no impulse control.

  2. Well, I drove myself (alone) to get my learners permit. I didn’t get arrested though. Then I took my road test in a car with a manual transmission. I liked to live dangerously when I was young.

  3. My youngest brother basically taught himself how to drive on my dad’s 56 Ford F 100 P/U with a four on the floor. He drove to drivers ed with it (no driver’s license yet at the time) and his teacher knew he was doing it and didn’t say anything about it. He ended up co teaching other kids how to drive along with his teacher. You could do things like that still back in the mid 70’s. And he just turned 65 a month ago.

  4. Picture showed a lot of very low wattage bulbs there. Probably suitable for a night light or maybe a refrigerator light, if 110. In the DC world they look like a package of flashlight bulbs, probably Chinese knockoffs.
