Mass. trial court to pay $425,000 to social worker who says she was pressured into sex with judge

Boston Globe: The state trial court has agreed to pay $425,000 to settle a lawsuit filed bya former court worker who says she was groomed, sexually harassed, and pressured for oral sex by the former presiding judge of the Eastern Hampshire District Court in Belchertown.

Tammy Cagle, a clinical social worker who now lives out of state, alleged that Judge Thomas Estes used his position of authority to lure her into performing sex acts in his chambers when she was assigned to the Pittsfield Drug Court, where Estes sat one day a week.

Estes, who resigned under pressure in 2018 after the allegations became public, still faces a federal lawsuit from Cagle that is scheduled to go to trial in March. But the settlement filed on Wednesday will end Cagle’s state lawsuit against the Massachusetts court system. MORE

  1. I admit I’ve been out of the game for a while but I need help translating this,”she was groomed, sexually harassed, and pressured for oral sex”. I get what sexually harassed is, but how do you “groom” someone or “pressure” for oral sex, “If you don’t blow me I’m going to kill you and your family”? And I guess he “pressured” her for 4 whole months.

This sounds suspiciously just like what happened to Charles Paine (Fox Business personality). One of his guests, Scottie Hughes, decided she was going to sleep her way for more air time. For over a year they had a consensual sexual relationship. When she wasn’t getting the air time she wanted, she filed a sexual harassment lawsuit with Fox, claiming he raped her multiple times.

The judge claims she was the aggressor and pursued him well after she moved. Emails, text messages, or witnesses that saw them together playing kissy-face, this is what he needs to convince a jury.

  2. We’re supposed to believe ALL the women, right? That’s what the left has been preaching for years. Kavanaugh comes to mind, for instance.

It didn’t apply to Monica Lewinsky and others too numerous to count, including Tara Reid who accused Joe Biden of sexual assault, neither of whom are NOT to be believed.

This is a dangerous game the left is playing.

  3. The black woman Biden is going to nominate for the Supreme Court forced me to give her oral sex 30 years ago because I needed to pay for being white and male.

I don’t remember anything else; I just swear that it happened.

Shouldn’t all sexual assault victims be believed?

  4. “The state trial court has agreed to pay $425,000 …”
BULLSHIT! The taxpayers will pay it – not the maggots responsible.
They should make the cock-suckee sell his house and liquidate his financial portfolio to make restitution.

And the dumbasses will see this as a triumph!

  5. Oh please… Another dumb whore claims victimhood after her sleazy relationship goes sour. Grown ass women with college degrees don’t get “groomed”. They just decide to fuck anything around them in a position of power to get ahead, and then claim victimhood later to gain some advantage later as well. Worse than whores because at least whores have discretion and don’t lie about fucking for personal gain.

The judges was an idiot to behave this way. But this bitch is no damn “victim”.
