Howie Carr: Republican US Senate candidate Shiva Ayyadurai was arrested by the Belmont police in June 2005 and charged with assault and domestic battery on his live-in then-40-year-old girlfriend.

An emergency 209 A restraining order against Ayyadurai was issued after the arrest “that prohibited him from contacting (redacted) and that the emergency ‘no contact’ 209 A order prohibited him from calling the telephone at 69 Snake Hill Road.” (That was his residence.)
When the police arrived, they reported that the female victim “appeared to be extremely upset, her face was red and she was breathing rapidly. While I spoke with (redacted) she began to cry several times and had difficulty speaking with me.”
Ayyadurai told the investigating officers that his girlfriend had grabbed him by the right testicle. After he was arrested and handcuffed, he was transported to Mount Auburn Hospital in Cambridge before he was returned to the Belmont police station for booking. MORE

The entire first hour of Curt Schillings show has been interviewing this guy, plus talking to another person who remains his supporter in the primary. Apparently his opponent Geoff Diehl is a snake, too. But I don’t know as I don’t live there and haven’t been following it very closely.
Schilling gave Shiva the business and basically said his campaign is over.
I heard part of this on Howie’s show last pm. This dude is a lightweight and a hothead, and he isn’t going anywhere.
Who ran this guy? Was there a deal struck to run GOP freaks so that Fauxcahontas keeps her job?

This is just the primary folks. Generally the party doesn’t get involved (officially) until a nominee is selected.

Seriously, WTF is wrong with Massachusetts? The old political adage that once elected, you can do anything just don’t get caught with a dead girl or a live boy. Kennedy was caught with a dead girl and was reelected again and again until Satan finally took him home. Barney Frank’s live boy ran a prostitution ring out of his home.
This will give all the Massachusetts cucks a prideful reason not to vote for him. That won’t change the outcome. Massachusetts cucks vote for Princess Warren, already. But, this time they can parade out of the closet.

As mentioned by another poster, doesn’t Massachusetts GOP ever vet their candidates? I know the state is teeming with zombie Democrats but I’m sure there are some decent candidates out there that may actually give Warren a run for your money. Why wouldn’t Scott Brown or even Mitt Romney take a crack at it? There has to be others that are at least small “c” conservatives that could be good candidates.

I think Texas needs to invade Massachusetts, toss out all the commies and annex it. We need to start treating commies like the Maoist subhuman invaders they are.
I don’t know much about this guy, but I wouldn’t kick him to the curb over this. My own brother got arrested for the same thing; case dropped just as in Shiva’s case — because the charges were BS to begin with, brought by a head case of a girlfriend. Also, he did show in that exchange that he is a fighter, and Carr was out for a “gotcha” interview. Carr attacked and Shiva counter-punched. Nothing wrong with that. If you all are waiting for a completely sinless candidate who has never once made a mistake or has never made a wrong decision, then sit back and relax cuz you are waiting for the second coming of Christ.
