Big Government: Republican challenger to Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA), Geoff Diehl, has won the support of the Boston Police union in another blow to the Democratic Party’s long-held coalition support from working-class unions.
This week, the Boston Police Patrolmen Association (BPPA) endorsed Diehl in his U.S. Senate race against Warren.
“The choice is very clear,” said BPPA President Mike Leary said in the announcement. “We have an advocate who will fight for Boston police personnel as opposed to someone who undermines our efforts to keep neighborhoods safe. Geoff Diehl is our candidate for U.S. Senate.”
The Boston Police union has 2,000 law enforcement members and is the third largest police force in the New England area.
Diehl also recently won the support of the Worcester police union. read more

It’s good to see some common sense beginning to break out in Taxachusetts. I pray that those peoples’ eyes begin to open and they actually see what liberal Democrat policies have done to destroy what they hold dear.
Cannot comprehend why ANY Law Enforcement organization support democommies. Democrats knife policemen in the back at every opportunity. And then the unions send millions to back stabbers. Blows me away.
Will that help or hurt in Massachusetts?
I think with the ability to shrug off the unions now, thanks to common sense rules, that the Union’s will have to think long and hard about whom they endorse, as there members now have a way to object to their decisions.
This the same state that continuously voted in Ted Kennedy. They arent going to change
