GP: The cause of the catastrophic wildfires that have likely killed thousands of innocent Hawaiians has reportedly been identified. In the process, it completely blows up the Democrats’ climate change narrative.
As Fox News reported, officials in Maui said the fires were caused by downed power lines and failures by the state’s main power utility company.
Due to these facts, the government of Maui County, Hawaii has filed a lawsuit against the Hawaii Electric Company and its subsidiaries for neglecting to properly power down live electrical equipment amid a red flag windstorm earlier this month.
Because of this occurrence, downed power lines operated by the utility company sparked the series of deadly fires on the island.
Maui County released the following statement regarding the lawsuit: more

…when dealing with a widespread disaster you DO try to keep looters out; and when doing body recovery (HUNDREDS of children still missing) you DO cover as well as possible out of respect for the victim and family (and trust me that you don’t really want to see a person that’s burned to death), but never to the point of just absolutely obstructing views all the time of the entire disaster scene, as that does not serve the public interest, or the intersts of those that still own property and may have lost loved ones inside the affected area.

I think that fence is a step to get tourism going again. We received an e mail from a resort on the Wailea side asking us not to cancel and assuring us everything was good there. They also went on to explain how desperately the locals there need tourism and how steps were being taken to keep the burned areas separated.
