Mayor Adams Vetoes Bill Decriminalizing Unlicensed Vendors on NYC Streets

TownHall-
Mayor Eric Adams vetoed a bill passed by the New York City Council that would decriminalize illegal vending. Adams argues the bill undermines the city-based push to clean up the streets.

Supporters of Adams’ veto suggested that the City Council promoted Intro 47-B, the Street Vending Reform Bill, in part to protect illegal immigrants operating as unlicensed vendors amidst increased deportations under the Trump administration, according to The New York Post.  more

  1. You get better prices from the street vendors than Walmart and they follow you down the street reducing the price as you go further. Same great deals as in Mexico. Safety tip: They don’t accept cards. Some take orders that come in the next day or that same night, free shipping.

  2. Even the CBC Communist Broadcasting Corp. in Khanuckistan did several stories on UN-INSPECTED H***L meats & Chicken being sold to actual franchises & independents in Canada outside of the Franchise certified suppliers.

  3. The people of New York City failed to learn from Rudy Giuliani (either that or they’re all gone now).

And how many illegals are in New York State, alone? A million+ ? Many hundreds of thousands in the City?

I don’t see how this ends well.

  4. I think we need to give this guy some credit for learning on the job. Compare his campaign redirect to what he’s preaching now. Plus his own party ambushed him. He’s the second best candidate and the first best has no chance.
