1. She is lying, Walz is repeating the lie (having none of his own to contribute), and Donald is SHAMING HER. Nothing wrong with working for McS#!+. They teach you a great work ethic, hard work, and the reasons why you want to do something else with your life. But lying about working there??? Seriously?

   I read an article w/in the last few days that there were only the two Alameda McD’s. Golly, that means it would take twice as long to check the records, maybe as much as 10 whole MINUTES!

4. Not to defend the Liar in second command, but my first job was at my local Burger King in 1973. Actually, I may have started in late 1972.

   But I would be surprised if their records would show that all these years later.

   Well, I can see a lazy person putting in one official work day and never going back, but that would make Kakala a quitter and she would never cop to that.

6. In pre-draft-lottery 1968, with the Vietnam FUBAR in full insanity, I had gone from a student deferment back to 1A. Nobody wanted to hire me for any job at any wage…except McD’s. I was there five months, and in that time I got three raises and was entrusted with the keys to the place because it was my job to unbag, peel, wash, slice, wash, and blanch 150 lbs of Idaho russets for the lunch crowd, and when they arrived I did the frying, too, after cleaning the fryers. Hard work and I appreciated every minute of it. Thanks, Ray Kroc!

10. All one has to do is read her quote of her McD’s tenure: “I did fries, I did fries, I did fries — and I did cashier.”

    She speaks of those positions as though she knows that McD’s has those positions, but that’s as far as her knowledge goes. And she’s talking about the *things*, not what she did in the position. It’s somewhat difficult to explain what’s wrong with her wording, but her description isn’t right. It’s like saying you worked at Nordstrom and you “did” shoes, or you “did” women’s dresses. She spoke in a passive voice and is not in the activity of “didding”. It’s a superficial claim.

    I know McD’s isn’t rocket science, but I can’t help but laugh to think if she’d claimed employment at NASA. “I did boosters and I did building the towers.”
