Meet The Hero Who Killed OSU Attacker Abdul Razak Ali Artan

DailyCaller:

Ohio State University was rocked by an attack Monday that left one dead and at least nine injured.

Those numbers could have been higher if not for the heroic actions of Ohio State University police officer Alan Horujko. Horujko, 28, stopped Abdul Razak Ali Artan in less than two minutes after the junior OSU student rammed his car into a group of pedestrians and then attacked them with a butcher’s knife.

Horujko radioed to dispatch at 9:52 a.m. that a man had driven his car into a group of pedestrians near Watts Hall on campus. He then radioed again to say there was a man with a knife, and, “officer in trouble.”

  1. While the Officer is a hero in my books, his identity should not have been made public. He is now a target. May God protect him. Whoever is responsible for the release of information on him is an idiot. Just my opinion.

  2. @Moe Tom: While I get what you’re saying, if we don’t recognize our heroes, then how will we inspire more people to follow their example? Better to laud and protect such men for their valor than to cower in fear that doing so will invite the attentions of our enemies. That will come anyway, no matter what we do.

    Just my opinion.

  3. This just in, a black immigrant of unrelated and irrelevant religious beliefs was having car trouble at Ohio state university. In his search for help he was triggered by college students most likely due to a combination of the rape culture prevalent on campus and hateful rhetoric of nazi in chief Donald Trump. During trying to defend himself from violent attack, the immigrant was brutally murdered by a white transphobic male cop. No word yet on what punishment will be dispensed by the DoJ but a “peaceful” protest might be required.

  4. Vietvet/ Bad Brad. These are difficult times. The less these bastards know, the better. The officer will be known as a hero among those who count.

Check out this youtube video. “Dishonorable Disclosures.”

  5. “It’s a hell of a thing killin’ a man…” You did the right thing son. Remember that. No decent person takes a life without conflict of the soul, but you did your job and saved lives. Remember that. You stopped a monster and did your duty. Well done son, well done. God bless you.

  6. Bad_Brad/Moe Tom: Maybe if I thought there was a snowball’s chance in Hell of the guy’s name not leaking out I might say, yeah – let’s keep it out of the news, but you and I know better. The MSM would ferret out the details in 5 minutes. How many OSU cops are there? How many of them were on duty that day? Of those, who got placed on temporary administrative leave because he fired his weapon? Not real hard to figure out who shot the guy. Plus, cops talk. Family talks. Friends and neighbors talk. There will be an investigation into the shooting. How are they going to hush the details of that up? Public information laws, etc. Nobody lives in a vacuum anymore. Try winning the lottery and keeping that a secret if you don’t believe me.

You know the guy’s name will come out sooner or later, so why not give him his due? And protect him. That’s what cops do for each other every day.
