  1. If Hegseth knew she was married before screwing her, that’s kinda skanky. But it’s not rape. But it is a perfect example of not sticking your dick in crazy nor sleazy. And it’s pretty damn sleazy for some skank to screw a guy in the same hotel she knows her husband and kids are in the same hotel.

  2. “His marriage had fallen apart when his wife discovered his mistress had given birth to his daughter and his divorce was about to cost him millions.

His life was teetering on the brink as he turned a little too much to alcohol as a crutch.

And that wasn’t the worst of it for Pete Hegseth – Donald Trump’s pick for Defense Secretary – as his life threatened to spiral out of control in 2017.

Just weeks later Hegseth, now 44, was accused of groping multiple women and sexually assaulting one as alcohol once again allegedly clouded his judgment”

I had brought up the fact that he had even one alcoholic beverage at such an event impressed me that he lacked good judgement. I think he would do a great job, but he may have screwed the pooch on his getting the opportunity

  3. There is something feminists will have to come to terms with: Why is it that an intoxicated woman is considered unable to give consent (even if she initiates the activity) but a drunk man is responsible for his actions?

I agree that no intoxicated woman is capable of giving consent. The same sentence in the California law that makes it illegal to have sex with an underage girl is what makes it illegal to have sex with an intoxicated woman. Personally, I would recommend that a guy not have sex with a woman if the subject had not come up before the drinks started flowing — in other words consent was given or implied beforehand.

  4. This is why it was a big deal when Mike Pence said he would never have lunch with a woman other than his wife, why he would never be alone with another woman. Of course the opposition insisted that it was because he was weak; no, it was because it would leave him open to accusations, whether real or not.
I know we don’t like Pence – but we did until election day 2020. His debate with Kamel Toe was excellent.

  5. I should add that I believe a drunk man should be responsible for his actions. It boils down to things not being as cut and dried as we would like them to be.

I just find it a bit disingenuous for feminists to fully support the cries of rape from a drunk woman who clearly initiated the act while at the same time demanding accountability on the part of the drunk man.

  6. Truckbuddy — Thank you for mentioning that. I have the same difficulty with her.

I can understand “evolving” in your thinking on just about anything, especially if you’re given new information that you couldn’t have easily known before. But Megan Kelly demonstrated no integrity when she went after Trump the way she did.

I think we conservatives must really consider our methods and not slip in and out (so easily) from using the same dirty tactics and shrug off bad behaviors and morals when it suits us. That’s the way of the Left: by any means necessary. It belies our trust in God and it will get us all in trouble.

Our Constitutional Republic was predicated on a moral and faithful disposition. It can’t work the way it’s supposed to, otherwise.

  7. …the reason we have so many convoluted laws and even more regulations is because we’ve gone from interacting with each other according the highest law-giver to exceedingly fallible man-made laws.

I think this “turnaround” is little more than a desire to stay relevant, maybe with a little fear of justice.

For sure there is a long list of people who trashed DJT that all of a sudden want to be on his side. 🤔

I’m afraid they’re gonna have to pay the Ferryman.
