13 Comments on Merry Christmas! Happy Holidays! Families Matter
I saw this a few days ago. What a horrid Christmas commercial!
As the Muslims take over.
The original joke was that the parents were getting divorced and there was nothing the kids could do, so they all flew home to convince them to stay together. Bastards!
Regardless of the questionable taste of this commercial, you should take the time to be with your parents while you still can. I was already planning to take the day off tomorrow and bake Christmas cookies with my mother. She recently celebrated her 95th birthday.
The female vocalist in this ad has worked for many hundreds of different ads in the past 10 years. A ‘studio musician’ as it were. Who is this cunt?
As a mom and grandma who sometimes gets overwhelmed at the thought of our house full to the brim and spilling over with many diverse personalities, ages and food preferences during the holidays, this gave me a kick in the butt to be more grateful for family who travel the miles to come home often. Thank You God.
Colbie says if you want to date her, call 911, moan three times, bark like a dog and wait – she’ll pick you up.
Mr. Pinko, are you addicted to adforum like I am? I sent BFH an ad to post that I think beats this one, but that was a spectacular ad! And you morons who hated it probably are happy that grandpa is dead.
This ad is a microaggression towards people with no family.
My parents are 87 & 89. Yes, they can be a pain & sometimes act more like kids than parents. But we were a pretty average, normal family. And every moment I can spend with them are memories that I put in my pocket–memories I can pull out, look at and savor when they are no longer here.
They must have hired the people who do the Indonesian life insurance commercials to do this one.
I just hope it doesn’t catch on here or we’ll be inundated with guilt inducing ads trying to get everyone to sign up for Obamacare.

I got to be honest, choked me up a little.
Reminded me of Cats in the Cradle
