So much good news: WASHINGTON (Reuters) – The trade deal between the United States and Mexico will stand even if Canada does not come to an agreement with the Trump administration in the renegotiation of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), Mexico’s foreign minister said on Monday.
“If for any reason the government of Canada and the United States do not reach an agreement, we already know that there will still be a deal between Mexico and the United States.”

@MJA; I beg to differ. Trudeau just got handed a gift that may well give him another term (five more years) majority government. One of the candidates named Maxime Bernier a failed candidate for the leadership during the spring convention decided to strike out on his own and form a new conservative party to run in the upcoming election. He’s our own Hillary Clinton. If he follows through there’s a real chance he could siphon off enough votes from the Conservative Party to turn a Liberal Party rout into a majority Liberal Government. We are in deep, deep trouble.
