Migrant Drowns in Rio Grande River – No Border Barrier

Del Rio Sector Border Patrol agents recovered the body of a migrant found floating in the Rio Grande River where no border barrier is present.

Breitbart: Eagle Pass Station Marine Border Patrol agents patrolling the Rio Grande River that separates Texas from Mexico on December 20 found the body of an illegal alien who apparently drowned while crossing the river from Mexico. The agents contacted the Eagle Pass Fire Department to assist in the recovery of the migrant’s body, according to information obtained from U.S. Customs and Border Protection officials.

“Agents patrolling the Rio Grande located, and in conjunction with our first response partners, recovered a body” Del Rio Sector Acting Chief Patrol Agent Matthew J. Hudak said in a written statement. “The recovery of a deceased body is one of the grimmest events our agents confront. This incident highlights the danger and unpredictability of the Rio Grande River.”  MORE

  1. A lot of the bodies of migrants who drown attempting to cross the Rio Grande are never recovered because they are eaten by the large population of wild pigs that live in the area. They’re actually pretty famous. You may have even heard the song that was written about them: Sows of the Border.

  2. “…if it saves just one life…”. To build the wall, let’s adopt the cliches that the left uses for gun control. Saul Alinsky rule # whatever. “Common sense border control!”

  3. Wait for a heespanic legislator or a Telemundo pundit to demand that the US pay for swimming lessons for the third world.
(after we build them swimming pools, of course)

  4. I was looking around for my Give-A-Shit meter. Can’t seem to find it. The last time I saw it was…oh, wait. Nevermind.

I guess I’ll have to watch the ‘news’ as they’ll tell me how I should feel about an invader coming here for love.

    Or not…

Should be one of the happiest events IMHO. One less immigrant using our resources, or doing illegal acts in our country. I don’t feel anything about this death – maybe some relief he didn’t make it to our soil.
