We have plenty of domestic looters. Past hurricanes they drive in from surrounding states towing their own boats. After Katrina, a friend’s son got a job protecting a bank in NO. They gave them shotguns and bulletproof vests, put them up in hotels. As I recall they were getting paid $50/hr.
In SE Texas, if you loot after a hurricane, you will be shot and the sheriff will thank whoever did the shooting. I’ve seen that several times.
If they’re undocumented, would they really be missed?
