In a recent ad, a jean clad Sen. Al Franken stands by a Minnesota corn field explaining that he worked with Republicans and Democrats to pass a farm bill in spite of the congressional gridlock in the state.
But to Republican challenger Mike McFadden the image of Franken as bipartisan statement is laughable, and he’s working to paint the former Saturday Night Live actor as a liberal partisan Democrat that votes with President Obama 97 percent of the time.
“What was that number? 97?” Franken replied snarkily in a debate Thursday. “Let me write that down, or I’ll forget it.”
McFadden won’t let Franken forget – and he wants Minnesota to know that the author of the book “Rush Limbaugh Is a Big Fat Idiot” hasn’t changed a bit.
“He’s not a bipartisan statesman, he is the most partisan Senator in the Democratic Party, McFadden said in an interview with Breitbart News after the debate. “That is what he is.”

at least half the country thinks inflation and unemployment is low and the economy is growing. none of them can name a supreme court justice and think the policies being followed came from george bush and congress is keeping obama from changing anything.

he stole the seat 6 years ago and if need be he will steal it again. Voter fraud is only a crime when a Republican is caught doing it. With regards to Democrats voter fraud is a given.

Every time I see AF I see a replay of some of his old SNL skits wherein he played a politician advising voters that they shouldn’t be asking what he could do for them. But should instead be asking themselves what they can do for me, Al Franken. As I recall he used the same line in several skits playing the same self-centered politician. A clip of one of the old skits would work in an anti Franken add. He couldn’t deny he isn’t the same in real life.
