Military Data Breach May Have Compromised Personal Info on 200,000 Service Members

Breitbart: The U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) is sending letters to service members notifying them that their personal information may have been compromised by hackers who breached a computer network managed by the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA).

Up to 200,000 people may have been affected by the breach, although there is currently no proof that any of the data has been abused or sold on the black market.

  1. Yeah, let’s just keep networking everything up and tying it to the internet. Because agencies have to “share”. Because it’s just too much trouble to send data via daily courier. Because as we all know, when you’re dealing with DFAS or the VA, etc., this would harm their courteous, instantaneous and mistake-free customer service.
