Minneapolis ‘defund the police’ Minnesota sees 537% rise in violent carjackings

Minneapolis officials have a mess on their hands.

Blaze:

Following the death of George Floyd, the City Council vowed to dismantle the city’s police and encouraged anti-police protests.

But then the thing that happens when there’s a law enforcement vacuum happened: Crime increased — bigly. And now the city is facing a wave of a type of crime that had been pretty infrequent: violent carjackings. more

  1. Why have a car payment when you can drive a new car every day for free, and the cops don’t care. I wish I could get away with it here in Jax, FL but our Cops are trigger happy and will beat you up too. We probably lead the nation in Police firefights, so these guys don’t play by the blue state way of thinking

  2. I wonder what would happen if some bad person put a bumper sticker on each of those “officials” cars that cautioned “Thieves Beware: This vehicle never carries more than $2,500.00 in cash at any one time”.
