Minnesota Senate Candidate Says State May Flip Republican as Urban Liberals Drive Voters to Trump

DanBongino: On Saturday, Minnesota GOP candidate Jason Lewis told Fox & Friends Weekend that President Trump has the potential to flip Minnesota, a state that has not voted Republican since 1972 when President Richard Nixon won reelection.

Lewis said that Minnesota is “sort of a microcosm of the entire country. As the urban liberals become a little bit more crazy, it drives everybody else into Trump country and red country. And especially so since Donald Trump has done the most important thing he could for the GOP, and he’s brought the working man and woman back to the party.” more

  1. Lewis used to have a talk show on KSTP. I would pick it up on my travels in here in the west in the late 90’s to 2002 or so. He was Minnesotas Mister Right. He always was.

  2. Talked to 6 people who all voted Democrat in this years primaries, 1/2 were female with all living in Chicago’s inner-ring suburbs. Joe Biden can look forward to 0 votes from these few with 2 men and one woman not choosing a candidate. The rest are solidly behind Trump.
The riots will hand the Republicans a victory up and down the ballot.
