OZARK, Mo. (TCD) —
An 88-year-old man was arrested Wednesday after allegedly shooting and killing another man who asked him to do chores.
The Ozark Police Department said in a statement officers responded Wednesday to an “unknown medical call” at 11:30 a.m. on the 2700 block of North 31st Street.
Officers found a “deceased male outside the residence” who had been shot. The victim was identified as 52-year-old Ozark resident Kenneth Barnes.
Larry Shaw, 88, was taken into custody and charged with first-degree murder and armed criminal action in connection to Barnes’s death. He was booked into the Christian County Jail and was being held without bond. more here

Maybe a dementia patient. They can get violent sometimes. Kinda like a dementia patient I heard of who threatened to run a reporter over with a car for asking a question.

Now THIS is a guy who should be turned loose in Washington, DC.

On another note my old man (when in his eighties) tried to run over the next door neighbor. Unfortunately the guy was to quick and the old man too slow to the gas pedal. Missed him…
More to this story than told. Dude was a neighbor who riding this guys ass for years and went into his house to confront him..
Not saying homicide was justified but you rag on my ass in my house and you will be carried out also. As a big fella and cranky old vet most of my neighbors are polite, but I keep my properties up so I understand the dead neighbors attitude, just not his approach.
