Diogenes’ Middle Finger: New Orleans Mayor Mitch Landrieu, Son of Moon – Brother of Mary, made a national production out of tearing down several historic monuments, including Andrew Jackson, the 7th President of the U.S. and hero of the The Battle of New Orleans in the War of 1812. The removal of other 100 year old historic statues, Robert E. Lee, Jefferson Davis and P.G.T. Beauregard, made Landrieu into a hero of the “Ignorance is Strength” American Taliban who seek to erase the history that isn’t compatible with their radical sensitivities.   MORE

  1. Not much to add to Truffles’ comment. The landrieu family is a bunch of crooks. Did we not just have a belly full of the sinister lying corruptocrat weasel money grubbing mary landrieu in DC to disqualify anyone in this family ever again from holding national office?

  2. The victors, government public schools, Universities, politicians, progressives and socialists writing and re-writing history to fit their narrative.
In a couple more generations of re-writing, banning books, teaching and destroying memorabilia you’ll not find any references to the glorious State’s Rights patriots of the South.
The 21st century continues the ever growing, unbridled, dominate federal government.
King George the III never had it so good.

  3. Both sides can play this game.
An eternal flame fueled by natural gas has been burning 24/7/365 in Arlington Cemetary since 1963. Over 50 years.
It is a major contributor to climate change.

    Snuff it out.

  4. His platform, along with ridding the nation of all remaining southern civil war hero monuments, will include the melting down of the liberty bell, the razing of Independence Hall and the obliterating of Mount Rushmore. He is expected to garner strong demoncrat support.
