NB:Mollie Hemingway over at The Federalist has made a list of “5 Major Problems With Facebook’s Attempt To Limit ‘Fake News’.” The most passionate argument was with PolitiFact.
The second problem listed was “PolitiFact is a joke. They should be trusted with nothing. They are the worst candidates to adjudicate fakery in the entire media establishment. Even among the disreputable ‘fact’ ‘checking’ class, they are noteworthy for their awfulness.” They cannot be trusted with hard facts on Planned Parenthood.
To give but one example, PolitiFact took a statement by Casey Mattox that is 100 percent true and rated it “half true.” His statement was “Zero Planned Parenthood facilities are licensed to do mammograms. Planned Parenthood, women don’t need you!” PolitiFact, after many, many, many paragraphs of throat clearing, admitted that the fact claim was true — zero Planned Parenthood facilities are licensed to do mammograms.
But aha! They said “numbers don’t tell the whole story” on mammograms because people at Planned Parenthood could talk to women about mammograms and stuff. When Democrat Martin O’Malley said that “97 percent of the work that Planned Parenthood does is about mammograms and preventative health,” which we know is not true since zero percent of the work that Planned Parenthood does is mammograms, PolitiFact rated that “half true” as well. Whatever the hell this is, it’s not fact-checking.
Leftists are trying to regain their lock on the narrative by labeling real news as fake and pretending that the fake leftist MSM news is real. It’s not working.

If the Trump administration along with Congress does not defund the left then we are in trouble.
Since the beginning of news reporting the people reporting have separated the wheat from the chaff and reported on a third of the chaff mixed with donkey fazoo. I think it was Tom Jefferson that said “a person that doesn’t read the news paper is better informed”, or something in that regard.
PolitiFact is simply another Stalinist organ by which Soros can continue to chip away of the fabric of American freedom.

Time to prohibit nonprofits, and anyone associated with them like board members or executives, from donating to political entities while receiving tax payer subsities. The law might even exist in some form for all I know. I wouldn’t put it past the lawless slime to ignore it.

Hemingway should be the host of Meet The Press. Whenever she is on a panel, she is always the only one in command of all of the facts and aware of what all sides of the argument are.
At the very least, she deserves her own show.
Roughly 50% of the country has no problem with being told what to think. The attempt to censor “fake news” is an effort to get the rest of the population in line.
Personally I don’t need facebook or anybody else including people on the right deciding for me what’s fake. Just put it all out there, quality will win in the end.
