It likely is theatrics, but what is happening on the streets of Portland is the predictable progression of what has been happening in Portland and much of Oregon over the past two or three decades. It is what the current majority have chosen and they will not allow anyone to disturb their fantasy.
The same is seen in all or parts of Washington State, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, Utah, New Mexico, Arizona and Nevada. It is the inexorable spread of leftist ideology and thought that has been spread in the colleges and universities (and more and more in primary and secondary schools) and by Californians transplanting their idiocy as they relocate to “escape” the train wreck they caused in their own state.
