He lifted his predecessor’s mask mandate.

Montana Gov. Greg Gianforte (R) lifted the state’s mask mandate Friday, fulfilling a campaign pledge, after he said the state has made significant progress vaccinating the most vulnerable against COVID-19.

Gianforte has been a vocal opponent to the mask mandate, which was signed into law by his predecessor, Democratic Gov. Steve Bullock, in July. more

  1. When I was a kid in Montana a bunch of Goddamned hippies showed up up around Choteau. The locals sheep sheared ‘em and sent ‘em packing. They would have been just fine if they had been taught to keep their mouths shut.

I’m happy that the Gov. reversed bollock’s political gambit order but he allowed “county health officers” (e.g., ober schrecken sturm gruppen fuhrer Drenda Neimann in Lewis and Clark County)to keep their local restrictions in place. However, I think the sheep here are beginning to awaken. I “think” I see fewer docile mask wearers of late.
