More shoes to drop – IOTW Report

More shoes to drop

American Thinker: After marveling at how many Beltway cognoscenti went down yesterday over sex harassment claims – John Conyers, Charlie Rose, Glenn Thrush (he can throw in Oliver Stone, too) – Axios’s Mike Allen said he had an even more interesting tidbit: there is more to come.

More big-name sex harassers are on the cusp of being exposed.  Allen writes:

The tech world’s dark secrets have been seeping out for months, and it’s just under seven weeks since the N.Y. Times detonated its Harvey Weinstein exposé. So this may feel like a crest, but here’s the amazing thing: Every sign is that for the East Coast, there’s lots more to come.

  • News organizations are looking into specific congressmen, some with years-old reputations for leering, infidelity and more.
  • Reporters have been asking around about other well-known media figures. We hear one top name is the target of two media investigations.
  • And consider this: The wave has yet to hit the New York corporate suites. I’m told they’re hardly immune.

Allen is a swamp thing if there ever was one (albeit a nice guy when I sat with him once on a panel), and he knows what’s going on among the Washington elites.  His tidbits are specific and have details.

  1. Someone’s sleaze files have been leaked.
Why would left-leaning publications that have a history of covering for the Left and attacking conservatives, suddenly start publishing these stories about their fellow travelers? Perhaps their editors have something to hide?

I am starting to think blackmail is the coin of the realm for the establishment.

  2. Wait until the nouveau riche Silicon Valley dork rapists start coming to light.

Stalking people through their gmail accounts, tracking their exes locations, etc.

    It’s already happened before.

Google, Facebook…you can’t tell me those sociopaths aren’t using their access to stalk people.

  3. Even stopped clock Beck stated way back (when I still tuned in) several times that if you want to keep a seat on the Make Things Right train, you’d better make sure your act is cleaned up. Granted, his directive was geared to people on the right. Pretty sure he didn’t see it playing out like this.

  4. Except for the fish that are caught in this great and large netful of SCUMBAGS, we all must agree that this purge is good for the country.

Consider one thing. Remember Donald Trump, the primary candidate who warned quite clearly, “if someone attacks me, I’ll hit back twice as hard”. That lead to the crushing of candidates, McCain, Graham (cellphone), little Marco Rubio, lyin’ Ted Cruz, and “low energy” Yeb!. After his warning, reckless adversaries lunged at him and he responded definitively.

Remember when the Media, the now generally regarded “fake media”, attacked candidate Trump via an old clip of Billy Bush (who?)? With Bill Clinton’s entire disgusting life’s history untouched by them, they chose to paint Trump as an immoral abuser.

Look where we are today. A vast, seemingly endless, battlefield bloodied with the carnage of celebrity and media pontificators, hypocrites all, who were crushed, destroyed by their own history. Revealed by whom?

My bet is on President Trump, who if he is behind this, rises to a level closer to Alexander the Great. This could advance Western Civilization. Seriously, with surveillance technologies available and pervasive internet sharing of information, this intitiative pulls back the curtain on the creeps, the fascists, the network of evildooers.

  5. To the title, ‘More Shoes to Drop”,
I’m not titilated, amused or aroused. I’m very pleased that the grounds are being bulldozed, minefields cleared, for my kids, and grandkids to come, female and male.

    More, much more, please!

  6. Yeah well I kissed a girl 60 years ago while I was in kindergarten. I was considering running for a local political position but I guess that any thought of running for office is now out of the question.

  7. @ A Bright New Era, swept clean of the burden of hypocrite nags?

Trump certainly has the cash for this type of intelligence operation. Hire private investigators for research? He could have been doing this for years.

He was also in show business and probably heard a lot of rumors that just needed to be verified. He is also very thin skinned, so past attacks by NYT , WaPo, and others were never forgotten, nor forgiven. The day of retribution would be on his timeline.

I think he had been planning to run for President for a very long time, and he knew how the game is played. He seems to play a long game. That is why they can’t find dirt on him. He was rich enough and didn’t need to cheat, or break the law. That is why the establishment hates him. They can’t control him with blackmail, and he is not in debt to anyone.
