yahoo: A Utah mom who was arrested last month after allegedly leaving her 12-year-old son locked up for as long as two years in a filthy bathroom is asking for better jail conditions.
Brandy Jaynes has been in jail since last month, when she was arrested in the case of the boy, who had wasted away to just 30 pounds and “looked like he was the victim of a concentration camp,” Washington County authorities sai
Jaynes has since been held on a $20,000 cash-only bond — an amount her attorney says she can’t pay — in a cell with only a cot and no shower access.
“Either she’s got to have a reasonable bond amount she can pay, or she’s got to have a bed and a shower at the jail,” attorney Edward Flint told St. George News.
Flint has filed for a bail hearing at which he’ll ask the amount be lowered.
Jaynes was charged with felony child abuse on January 9 after the boy was discovered by his father.
The little boy’s siblings told police that their brother had been kept in the bathroom for between one and two years and they had not spoken with him through the door of their Tocqueville home in six months, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office told reporters. MORE
Oh HELL no! Let her stay exactly where she is, give her a small taste of what she did to her son. That is, if she can ever feel guilt and remorse.
That poor boy will never recover. That much malnutrition affects the body and brain long term. I hope he has someone to help and support him in whatever recovery he can get, and throughout his life.
As for mom, put her in the prison general population, and have a guard let slip to the other inmates what she did. The results should be……interesting.

If this bitch is found guilty, then solitary confinement in a port a potty is justifiable. Until then, presumption of innocence dictates better treatment. I don’t want to see her walk over this.

Why did it take dear old dad two years before he got around to looking in on his kid?
No shower? No problem. Use a firehose on her every morning.
Take a bunch of concrete storm drains about 10′ across, and 20′ long, stand them on end over a plumbing stack (shower/sink/toilet) set in a concrete slab. Saw a door hole and give them the standard jail door.
They get a controlled environment space a little bigger than their bunk.
And a treadmill.
The treadmill is for amusement.
That, and if the convicts want hot shower water and lights at night, they get to walk 8 hours a day.
What, she commits a horrific crime and expects the Motel 6 treatment?

No solitary confinement for her; put her in the general prison population. And make sure the other inmates get the full details of her crime.
The Father should be arrested for stupidity above and beyond the call of duty for having carnal knowledge, on more than one occasion, with a rabid bitch!
