BOSTON —
At least three incidents of students assaulting other students with Chromebooks are under investigation in Boston.
According to Boston police reports, three students at three different Boston public schools have been assaulted recently by other students who used their district-issued laptops as weapons.
One of the assaults was at the Murphy K-8 School in Dorchester where a student was hit over the head by another student swinging a Chromebook and ended up going to the hospital and getting five stitches.
Similar incidents have taken place at Kilmer K-8 in West Roxbury and Boston Latin Academy.
“The data, overall, does not show an increase in incidents over previous years,” Mayor Michelle Wu said. more

Interesting the kid they show is Asian but no talk about “white supremacy”. I’m willing to be the W. Roxbury student who used his Chromebook as a weapon is black. That’s a town you don’t go near and haven’t since the 70’s if you’re white.
