You’d probably fool 99% of millennial regressives by trotting out Mr. Science Johnny La Rue as a Global Warming expert. Also wouldn’t be surprised to see a reporter for some rag or cable network get fooled and try to quote him for a news bit.
The one where he explains how TV works is priceless.

My wife and I some friends used to stay up late on Friday nights just to watch SCTV. Of course that was before we had kids back in the late 70’s and early 80’s. I especially liked their spoof of creature features with Monster, Chiller, horror Theater with John Candy as Count Dracula, it was hilarious.
I tried to never miss an episode. So many great characters.
Thanks for the SCTV memories. It was also during the time I was enjoying the thrill of the chase. Caught her in ’81. What a time.
