President Donald Trump was having a great time working at McDonald’s on Sunday. 

If anyone else had done it, they probably would have looked awkward. But he looked like he was in his element, especially when he was greeting people at the drive-thru window and handing out orders. This was the “joy” and the fun that the Kamala campaign can’t duplicate. The customers and the crowd outside just loved it, and you could tell he was having a great time.  more

  8. The boss serves the customers. Old school commercial politics, with bossy making sure he serves his people as well. Letting everyone know bossy is in it to win it and letting his people know they get service too. All good stuff really and Trump obviously knows how to play the whole show like a… boss.

  9. If MSNBS thinks PDJT working at McD’s is bizarre and strange, they need to come down here to SW Florida. There are lots of people older than that working at McD’s and lots of other places. They used to be retired but the fixed income that was more than sufficient to live fairly comfortably on is now worth half of what it was before BECAUSE OF THE MALEVOLENT SPENDING OF BIG GOVT AT ALL LEVELS. We’ve got a little old 85-yr-old lady working the counter at our local Culver’s. She’s got a good attitude, bless her heart, but I’m sure she’d rather be elsewhere. Bastards.

  13. I really enjoyed some of the videos posted on X yesterday.

    In one, he was giving out the orders to a car full of estactic people getting to meet Trump, he bantered with them, saying “I made this”. Then he gave the kids extra happy meals and said it was on him. Then he turned to his McDs boss and said, “I can do that, right?”

    He truly had as much fun as those who got to see him!

  16. Early this morning on KVI 570 radio that 1 in 8 people in the US has worked at the Golden Arches, 17% of everyone, plus one now.
    That was really fun to watch.
    If you have not seen it he has done this at a Trump Hotel cleaning a room and a bath room.

  17. Trump is one of those rare people who can make the person he’s talking to feel like they’re the only one in the room. This is a really rare gift, and I’ve only known 2 people in my 60+ years who connects like this with each individual. It’s not something one turns on and off; it’s just their nature. I’ve tried to emulate it because it always feels amazing to bask in that kind of active attention from someone, but it’s almost impossible to pull off naturally.

    I love how one of the first things out of his mouth is telling someone what a handsome, beautiful, or “good looking” person they are. That, and how he says “darlin'” to the women. I started saying “darlin'” to people, both men and women, when I thank them for something or to have a great day. It’s a magic word. People always smile and it seems to warm their hearts.

  18. The drive thru stuff was staged!, they scream. Of course, it was. Do you think they’re going to risk the future president handing an order to some nutbag who might have a gun? Hopefully, they’ve learned, but probably not.
