That doofus wasn’t funny on the Harvard Lampoon.
But the problem is — he didn’t apologize; nevermind the spirit, not even the letter of the law. I hope Trump proceeds to sue MSNBC for their slander. O’Donnell said he was sorry that he jumped the gun on reporting (those lies), not that they *were* lies. He even states that they’re not sure whether what they reported is inaccurate. So MSNBC left the door open — again — to speculation. And their excuse? The president’s attorneys leaned on the poor Fifth Column Keeper-of-the-(Rigorous)-Flame. Yeah, I do hope the lawsuit continues, because some genius at MSNBC (probably O’Donnell himself) thinks they’re lawyers can outdo the President’s lawyers.
Did they have EMTs on hand when he apologized? That had to just about kill him.
There may be a number of firings at MSNBC so the network can try to save it’s “Socialistic / Communistic” collective ass.

With an unbelievable statement there is a – rigorous verification and standards process (here) at MSNBC. With no evidence that has ever actually been used. Though perhaps it may exist on paper with SOP to ignore it. The duffus only said the timing of his report was off. While continuing to imply it is probably true.
Apologize? There is usually some semblance of contrition in an apology.

I have a source that knows a guy whose sister dated a guy who said he’s got proof that Lawrence O’Donnell is a child sex trafficker. Now, while I have personally seen no proof that this true, I have also seen no proof that it is not true.
This is the type of utter shit that a cunt like O’Donnell gets to pass off as “journalism”. Fuck all these people. What a worthless profession.
Trump’s attorneys should sue him. Sure, he retracted the story, but his comment that they may be accurate flies in the face of all the public documents NBC didn’t check, and apparently doesn’t trust.
