Mueller’s “Pit Bull” Andrew Weissmann Stepping Down

Dan Bongino: Robert Mueller’s “Pit Bull” Andrew Weissmann is stepping down from the Special Counsel probe into the Trump campaign and Russia–a possible sign that the investigation could be winding down.

PBS reports, “Andrew Weissmann, the architect of the case against former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort, will study and teach at New York University and work on a variety of public service projects, including his longstanding interest in preventing wrongful convictions by shoring up forensic science standards used in courts, the sources added. The departure is the strongest sign yet that Mueller and his team have all but concluded their work.”

After it was announced that Weissmann would join the Mueller investigation in 2017, it was revealed that he attended Hillary Clinton’s 2016 election night party.   MORE

  1. And now comes the news that Morris Dees, co-founder of SPLC, has been kicked to the curb. Apparently some “behavior” problems. Two leftist vipers down. What a great day!

  2. The clinton criminal network is indistinguishable from the official US Government agency network of upper level appointees and the special counsel’s investigation.
This was known well before Trump became President. Yet, through deceit, deception and deflection the clinton criminal network remains intact.
Delete the Word “justice” it is the Department of Just Us.
    Disgusting and embarrassing.

  3. Hopefully he will be prosecuted and end up in federal prison and enjoy the perks of prison life. A plus is he can teach the jailhouse lawyers how NOT to act so they won’t end up back in jail.
